Anna – Spa Manager

I studied Beauty Therapy at Cork College of Commerce where I completed CIBTAC and ITEC with honours. I have over 15 years of experience in the Beauty Industry. I started my career with Clinique where I learned excellent customer service and selling techniques. After 5 years I continued my career with Clarins where I was practising facials and beauty treatments. My next new endeavour was an unforgettable experience in Andalusia where I had the pleasure to work in an incredible Beauty Salon with experienced Therapists and make-up artists. When I relocated back to Ireland my destiny took me to Kinsale where I was offered a role as a Spa Therapist then progressed to become Spa Manager.

I am an open and honest person who treats other people with respect, I am also a very good listener which I feel is essential in my role. As a Spa Manager I am committed to help my therapist to grow and glow, train them and enhancing their best qualities working alongside them. I focus on delivering an amazing customer experience, career growth, opportunities and an environment where my team can develop their own strengths. I ensure that all guests enjoy a truly exceptional spa time by providing a luxurious experience, going above and beyond and inspiring the team to do the same.

As a lifelong learner I constantly update my skills and knowledge. This helps me to develop both personally and professionally. It opens doors to new opportunities. helping me achieve my full potential.

When I am not in the Spa, I love spending time with my wonderful family.  I love travelling, camping, reading, learning new languages and being the best version of myself.   

Celene Spa Receptionist

Hi, I am Celene. I absolutely love my role in the team. I have excellent customer service skills and love working with people, spreading my positivity towards our guests and my colleagues. I am very helpful and energetic, making our clients feel welcome and happy during their time with us. I have a passion for internal design which gives me a good eye for decorating.

After work I love spending time with my family, playing tennis and walking my dog.

Andy Spa Therapist

Hi, I am Andrea I studied Anatomy and general Naturopathy, where I specialised as an Ear Acupuncture Addiction Therapist. I was introduced to the basics of Chinese Medicine, which completely captivated me, then learned Acupressure Meridian Massage under the mentorship of a Chinese doctor. These methods of Chinese Medicine activate the body's self-healing mechanisms by starting to harmonise the life energy circulating in the meridians. I was impressed with the results of my treatments, which I tried on myself for the first time and they proved to be very effective. I knew then that my path was to help others.

I also learned Ayurvedic Massage, Dermato-Vacuum Reflexology, Japanese Face Massage, Swedish Massage and Zen Shiatsu where I also use acupressure and the technique of soft mobility.

I'm committed to a healthy lifestyle, which is illustrated by the fact that I've been playing sport all my life. I have been practicing Yoga since 2014 and meditation is also an integral part of my life. In the last couple of years I became Sound Therapist and Sound Bath Master and Women Yoga Teacher.

As a naturopath and movement therapist, I believe that when we are out of balance, we need to look for the root causes and treat the mind-body-spirit combination.

My first Spa work experience started in a 5-star hotel in Greece. Here I was able to complement my knowledge with facial treatments. Then I found the opportunity to work in the fascinating Kinsale Hotel & Spa.

Outside of work I am very active but I also take time to relax. I love to explore new places, travelling, doing yoga, swimming, reading and cooking. I love to learn, I am constantly improving my skills.

Katie - Spa Therapist

 Hi, my name is Katie, I am the Spa therapist here at the Hotel Kinsale & Spa.

I got my CIDESCO qualification in Beauty & Body Therapy where I learned various massage techniques, body and facial treatments and holistic practises designed to relieve tension, rejuvenate the mind and restore the balance. I found satisfaction in tailoring each facial to meet the unique needs of different skin types and conditions, carefully selecting Elemis products.

I have a calm demeanour and a gentle approach to create a soothing atmosphere, I customise each treatment to ensure maximum comfort and effectiveness. I have a passion to make a peaceful, harmonious environment for every guest to find their inner peace and overall wellness.

My philosophy is; every client is unique, and every treatment is an opportunity to create something special. I’m always looking for ways to improve and bring fresh techniques to my clients. Upskilling allows me to provide the very best care and ensure each experience is rejuvenating and memorable.

Outside work, I love to spend time at the beach, swimming, walking with family & friends, it helps me unwind and gets my day started.
